OMG a book of just geometric patterns! I want it so bad. I’m sad that it’s £62, but it does look fantastic.
I watched The Terminal today. It’s an old movie now, but it is every bit as good as it was four years ago. I remember that when it first came out it was the first movie that I ever saw with a girl.
One other thing I remember, afterwards, coming out of theatre and walking through the biting winter wind, “why” she asked, “did the girl have to leave the guy?”. It was the kind of bitter saccharine romance that plays out better on the big screen than it always seems to in life. I replied to her, that I didn’t know why but that I liked the ending, it seemed right somehow. I don’t think I could’ve put it clearly into words at the time. Now, years later, maybe I can, and this is what I would say to her. “Sometimes we wish that things could be different, about us, who we really are or about our lives, and when they can’t be … that’s what we remember the most. That’s what sticks to us more than anything.”
I’m thinking of getting a Konica Big Mini camera. Especially for portraits. Hopefully I can find one cheap..
Was so good on Saturday. The second time making it really was the charm. I guess it may of had something to do with the fact that I wasn’t helping this time?
